Student Services put together a Thanksgiving Drive-Thru for the students as a send-off for their break with a special guest appearance by the Hokie Bird!

VCOM was able to raise $2,835 for the VCOM Annual Fund during Giving Tuesday. This fund is a vital part of our organization that supports initiatives like community outreach and education, scholarships, medical research, and state-of-the-art technology for academic programs.

VCOM-Virginia Class of 2021 students received their Military Match.

Sarah Lowen was chosen as VCOM-Virginia’s 2021 Student Doctor of the Year. Throughout her time at VCOM Virginia, she has always strived to ensure her fellow classmates have felt seen and heard.

HCMO and BAHM partnered to host a donation drive to Warm Hearth Village. Warm Hearth Village is a local senior living center for low-income seniors in the New River Valley. They collected 202 total personal care items (lotion, soap, deodorant, chapstick) and wrote 153-holiday cards for their residents.

Through the direction and kindness of John Linkous and Bill Price – the Toys for Tots boxes at VCOM-Virginia were filled by the Operations Department’s generosity, individual donations and a gift from VCOM.
