VCOM announces new guaranteed admissions interview agreement with Indian River State College (IRSC). This makes it easier for IRSC Bachelor’s Degree in Biology students to train to be a physician.
VCOM holds Drive-Thru Gala, the MASKerade You Never Saw Coming! The event included catered meals, photo opportunities, and live music. Students, faculty and staff came out dressed in their pandemic best.
Student National Medical Association (SNMA), kicked off Black History Month with a gallery of African-American/ Black Physicians. The students were invited to learn more about prominent African American physicians who made advancements in medicine.
Reaching out to help our community fight COVID-19, VCOM’s Dr. Cathy Callahan and students assisted with the New River Health District’s vaccination efforts.
CCC’s St. Francis House Food Pantry partners with VCOM-Virginia and Student Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (SAMOPS) to provide and deliver groceries to 25 Veterans in need in Roanoke and Salem for Vittles for Vets - Radford VA.
