 International students on F-1 visa must provide written proof of ability to finance their medical education prior to matriculation and meet all other eligibility requirements as set forth by the Bureau of Citizenship Immigration Services.  Canadian students applying for admission also must meet all general requirements for admission as stated above and if French-speaking Canadians, proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken, is required. All coursework taken at Canadian institutions must be evaluated according to AACOMAS guidelines and instructions.  International students on F-1 visa must maintain the requirements for their visas at all times during enrollment at VCOM (i.e., they must be “in status”). Failure to remain “in status” may lead to dismissal from the College. DURATION OF POLICY The International Student Policy established by the Department of Admissions is effective as of the date above and shall remain effective until amended or terminated by the President and the Dean. 3.
