FACULTY ACTIVITY REPORT The Faculty Activity Report (FAR) is completed by faculty annually. Faculty meet with their Division/Department Chair to discuss the FAR. The Chair then meets with the Associate Dean to review the FARs and the Associate Dean then meets the Campus Dean. The Campus Dean, using the FAR analysis, proposes the academic budget to the President. Officers also meet with the President to discuss staff needs during the budget process.

From this review process a determination is made regarding the need for additional faculty and staff resources prior to the budgeting process.

DURATION OF POLICY VCOM’s Faculty Adequacy Policy has been established by VCOM Administration and is effective as of the date above and shall remain effective until amended or terminated by the President and Provost.
