SOMA Student Osteopathic Medical Association

T he Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) at VCOM is the student affiliate of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). This group works to continually improve healthcare for everyone by fostering conversations about current topics in healthcare and creating passionate future physicians. SOMA uses networking events and conferences to promote continual education. • SOMA was one of 25 locations in the country to host National Osteopathic Night Out, an event for Pre-Medical Students to grasp a better understanding of what osteopathic medicine is and get to know
