13.2.2 COMLEX Level 2 CE: Students Who Have Not Passed by the Date of Graduation A student who has not passed COMLEX Level 2 CE by the date of graduation but has completed all other graduation requirements will be required to follow one of the three procedures below, according to which of the three match their status at the time of graduation. A. A student who has taken COMLEX Level 2 CE prior to the date of graduation and is awaiting a COMLEX Level 2 CE score at the time of graduation will be temporarily withdrawn by the Campus Dean. The student is then required to submit a passing score for COMLEX Level 2 CE within 45 days following graduation. • Upon receiving a passing score, if all other requirement for graduation have been met, the student will be re-enrolled and will graduate on the date they receive a passing score. • If the student receives a failing score, the student will remain on temporary withdrawal and must successfully pass COMLEX Level 2 CE within a required timeframe to avoid dismissal.
o Temporary withdrawal may not exceed a 180-day limit, which is cumulative within the 12-month period or academic year and includes any prior leaves or suspensions in that 12-month period or academic year. Therefore, students should work closely with CIFSS and the Campus Dean to ensure the total number of days of their remediation plan does not exceed the allotted 180 days. If the total time exceeds 180 days within a 12-month period or an academic year, the student will be dismissed by the Campus Dean.
B. A student who is enrolled in a college approved COMLEX Level 2 CE immersion program as part of the prescribed remediation plan at the time of graduation will be allowed to complete the program. The prescribed remediation program will include a date the student is to sit for COMLEX Level 2 CE. Once the exam is taken, the student will be placed on a temporary withdrawal by the Campus Dean until the score is returned. • Upon receiving a passing score, if all other requirement for graduation have been met, the student will be re-enrolled and will graduate on the date they receive a passing score. • If the student receives a failing score, the student will remain on temporary withdrawal and must successfully pass COMLEX Level 2 CE within a required timeframe to avoid dismissal.
o Temporary withdrawal may not exceed a 180-day limit, which is cumulative within the 12-month period or academic year and includes any prior leaves or suspensions in that 12-month period or academic
