PURPOSE The VCOM Grading, Satisfactory Academic Progress, and Graduation Requirements Policy and Procedures defines the grading scale and procedures, academic expectations for VCOM students, the procedures to address lack of academic progress, and graduation requirements expected of all students. 2. ACADEMIC GRADING, PROMOTION AND GRADUATION VCOM students are evaluated for promotion and graduation based on core competencies consistent with osteopathic core competencies required at the medical student level.
