credited for the tuition and fees refund, which will be equal to a pro-rata calculation of the amount of academic time the student completed during the term.

2.2 Refunding When No Title IV Monies Were Received If the student did not receive Title IV monies to pay for tuition and fees and his/her completion percentage is less than 60 percent, the Business Office will independently calculate the pro-rata tuition and fees refund due to the student. The pro-rata tuition refund will be applied to the students’ accounts and may reduce any balances the students owe VCOM. A check or direct deposit will be issued to the student. 2.3 Three-Day Cancellation An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation (meaning the student decides to withdraw from the program) within three (3) business days, excluding weekends and holidays, of executing the enrollment agreement is entitled to refund of all monies paid less the non-refundable secondary application fee not to exceed $50. 2.4 Other Cancellations An applicant requesting cancellation (meaning the student decides to withdraw from the program) more than three (3) days after executing the enrollment agreement and making an initial payment, but prior to the first day of class, is entitled to refund of all monies paid less the non-refundable secondary application fee not to exceed $50. 3. DURATION OF POLICY The Policy and Procedures on Tuition and Fees Refunds, established by the Business Office, is effective as of the date above and shall remain effective until amended or terminated by the President and Provost.
