v. Submit all Campus Faculty Senate items requesting action, in writing to the Campus Dean. vi. Represent their campus faculty on the College-wide Faculty Senate. b. The Chair-elect will: i. Assume the office of Chair when the existing Chair's term expires. ii. Assume the office of Chair in the event of the Chair's absence, resignation, or removal from office. iii. Preside over Campus Faculty Senate meetings in the absence of the Chair. iv. Represent their campus faculty on the College-wide Faculty Senate. c. The secretary will: i. Keep minutes and records of all proceedings, including decisions, of the Campus Faculty Senate. ii. Distribute the approved minutes of Campus Faculty Senate meetings to the Campus Dean. d. Campus Senators will: i. Attend, participate in, and vote at meetings of the Campus Faculty Senate. ii. Represent the views of their division to the Campus Faculty Senate. iii. Make the Campus Faculty Senate actions and views known to their respective divisions. 4.4 Meetings of the Campus Faculty Senate The Campus Faculty Senate meets a minimum of twice an academic year (fall and spring) following the meetings of the Campus Faculty Assembly. The Campus Faculty Senate may also meet at other times independent of a Campus Faculty Assembly meeting. The Campus Faculty Senate should discuss and formulate recommendations to the Campus Dean based on the concerns of the majority of the Campus Faculty Assembly. a. In regard to these meetings, members of the faculty may attend Campus Faculty Senate meetings only by invitation of the Chair of the Campus Faculty Senate. b. Any member of the Campus Faculty Senate or administration may suggest agenda items for each meeting. c. Any member of the faculty may address the Campus Faculty Senate if he/she has contacted the Chair of the Campus Faculty Senate in advance and has an agreed upon time, format, and length of presentation. d. The faculty will have the opportunity to address issues of concern free from administration through their Campus Senator.
