Tuition and Fees
Admissions Application Fee Upon submission of secondary applications for admissions to VCOM, a nonrefundable fee of $50.00 is due to VCOM. Please make checks payable to VCOM. Also, please note in the memo section of checks that they are for secondary application fees and provide the name(s) of the student(s) for whom the fees are being paid. Secondary application fees can be paid via PayPal.
A fee of $67.50 is assessed for the required background checks. These funds are submitted directly to the company that does the background check.
Acceptance Fee Upon acceptance into VCOM, a tuition deposit of $1,500 is due. The tuition deposit of $1,500 is waived for veterans and veteran dependents. The tuition deposit is non-refundable. Deposit due dates begin December 14, except for early decision candidates, and follow the application process schedule published in the AACOM “College Information Booklet” located on line at: www.aacom.org . Payments are credited toward the tuition and fees upon matriculation. Tuition and Fees Tuition is billed in two installments for each academic year, typically in July and December. Bills or invoices are sent electronically to the students’ VCOM e-mail accounts. Payments are due in full within 30 days of the billing dates, unless special arrangements have been made with the Provost or the Business Office. Tuition and fees must be paid with financial aid funds, personal monies, and/or scholarships by the due date. The due date will be determined by the Business Office(s), is advertised in this Catalog, and is included in emails about tuition and fees invoices that are sent to students each fall and spring. A late fee of 2% may be assessed if amounts owed are not paid in full by the due date. Moreover, if tuition and fees owed are not paid in full 14 days after the due date, an additional late fee of 5% may be assessed. Tuition may be paid with checks, payable to VCOM. The student’s name must be included on checks. Checks may be mailed or taken to the appropriate Business Office on each campus. Contact information is listed at the end of this section. VCOM does not accept credit or debit cards for tuition or fee payments. Payments also may be made by preauthorized debits, in which the monies are electronically removed from payer’s bank accounts by VCOM, or wire transfers, in which the payers electronically transfer monies from their checking accounts to VCOM’s checking account. Please note that additional fees may be assessed by the payer’s banks and may need to be added to the transfer amounts. Students who are interested in utilizing the preauthorized debit or wire transfer payment options, should contact the appropriate Business Office listed at the end of this section. Students receiving federal aid or scholarships that have not arrived by the beginning of the academic year must provide written confirmation from the sponsor that the funds are awarded. Any outstanding tuition and fees must be paid before any refunds to students can be processed. Tuition for 2019-2020 Tuition is subject to change annually. Tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year is $46,500. There are no additional fees above the tuition. Students will receive an invoice at the beginning of the fall and spring terms, which will include a due date for tuition payments.
