During the OMS 1 and OMS 2 years, while the student is awaiting the Promotion Board’s recommendation, Campus Dean’s decision, or Provost’s decision, the student must attend scheduled class(s) and must take exams; however, the exams and grades will not be recorded unless the Promotion Board recommends continuation, which is accepted by the Campus Dean, or the student’s appeal to continue is approved. The student may also take remediation exams during this time; however, the exam and grade will not be recorded unless the Promotion Board recommends remediation, which is accepted by the Campus Dean, or the student’s appeal to continue is approved. During the OMS 3 and OMS 4 years, while the student is awaiting the Promotion Board’s recommendation, Campus Dean’s decision, or Provost’s decision, the student must attend scheduled rotation(s) and take the end-of rotation exam(s); however, the exams and clinical performance grades will not be recorded unless the Promotion Board recommends continuation, which is accepted by the Campus Dean, or the student’s appeal to continue is approved. The student may also take a remediation end-of-rotation exam during this time; however, the exam and grade will not be recorded unless the Promotion Board recommends remediation, which is accepted by the Campus Dean, or the student’s appeal to continue is approved.
