VCOM 2023 Annual Report
Student Scholarship Highlights C ommitted to helping others, physicians are critical members of our communities, supporting the health and wellbeing of their patients. Becoming a fully qualified physician is no easy task, and it comes with a financial burden that can be daunting, particularly for students who may come from underserved parts of the country. That is why we are so grateful to the donors who provide scholarships for students across VCOM’s four campuses. Their generosity makes a very real difference in our ability to meet our mission and provide healthcare across the United States and the globe.

“My experiences have shown me that medical care is much more sparse in rural areas, which is why I wish to open my own practice in a rural area, preferably near my hometown of New Market, which boasts a small, tight knit community composed of just over 2,000 residents.”
Frank B. Rocovich Endowed Wellness Scholarship
Anna-Katherine Escoto, Class of 2025 – Hoover, Alabama “It is such an honor to attend VCOM, and this scholarship will help me tremendously in my journey to becoming an osteopathic physician.”
