Govind Rajagopalan, PhD • VCOM REAP Award (matching funds from VT ICTAS): Delineating the molecular pathways that lead to liver failure during sepsis using humanized mice and multi-cellular 3D organotypic human liver cultures. Dr. Rajagopalan serves as Co-PI along with a colleague from VT ICTAS. • VCOM & VMCVM One Health Research Center Award: Profiling of human innate as well as adaptive immune responses to Brucella infection and vaccination using humanized mice to predict protective outcomes. A faculty member from VMCVM serves as Co-PI along with Dr. Rajagopalan. Research Center Award: Early growth response protein 2 (EGR2)-mediated epigenetic regulatory network in lupus. Dr. Reilly is Co-PI with a faculty member at VMCVM. • VCOM & VMCVM One Health Research Center Award: Modulation of the microbiota decreases disease in lupus mice.
