Class of 2026 Graduation Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship

VCOM Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is a one-year postgraduate training program, following the completion of residency training. Sports medicine fellows acquire general orthopedic and medical knowledge in addition to learning to apply osteopathic principles in the evaluation and treatment of patients. The fellows have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clinical and biomedical research programs and acquire clinical skills in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound. They also act as team physicians for Virginia Tech and Radford University athletics, Montgomery County Public Schools, and provide other regional coverage. This program is part of the HCA Healthcare LewisGale Montgomery Hospital VCOM Consortium.
