DURATION OF POLICY...................................................................................22 APPENDIX A...…………………………………………………………………………23 PURPOSE The purpose of the Discrimination, Harassment, and Violence Policy and Procedures is to provide definitions of discrimination, harassment, and violence, establish guidelines for the reporting of discrimination, harassment, and violence, and outline procedures for the review of allegations of discrimination, harassment, and violence for VCOM students, faculty and staff. DISCRIMINATION , HARASSMENT , AND VIOLENCE All students and employees reporting acts of discrimination, harassment, and/or violence should meet with human resources, administration, or faculty support administration to assure they are free from any further insult that could occur. VCOM seeks to strengthen the right to a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and violence. VCOM maintains records of any discrimination, harassment, or violence complaints in the Human Resource office and discloses statistics of crimes reported to campus security 1. 2.
