Musculoskeletal pain is a common complaint in offices across the country. There are multiple ways to treat this pain, but other symptoms, such as fasciculations, can cause conservative treatment to fail. The role of fascia in this pain and dysfunction is being researched and is gaining popularity in the medical community. Fascia

is the connective tissue that surrounds and invests the muscles, nerves, and all organs of the body. The Fascial Distortion Model is a form of osteopathic manipulative treatment that aims to diagnose and treat the fascial source of dysfunctions. In this case, the patient had muscular fasciculations and pain in her left hip and was

treated with FDM. At the time of completion, this is the first known case of symptomatic thigh fasciculations being improved with FDM treatment. The authors obtained consent from the patient to use their data for this case report.
