Continuing Medical Education V COM’s Office of Continuing Medical Education offers educational activities to enhance the clinical competence and professional development of physicians. These activities include annual conferences, forums, seminars, and workshops designed to focus on medical knowledge, patient care, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, practice-based learning and improvement, systems-based practice, osteopathic philosophy and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), and meet the additional educational needs. Annual events include the Spring VOMA CME Conference, the Fall Homecoming and CME Conference co-sponsored by VCOM and VOMA, and the Via Research Recognition Day.
