T he Via Wellness program aims to promote not just a healthy body, but also a strong mind and spirit. The program enriches campus life through many different sports, fitness and exercise, as well as social, cultural and spiritual events. Students as well as faculty, staff and their family members are welcome to participate in all Via Wellness activities. participants have the opportunity to take part in events hosted by many different organizations across campus for which they can earn Via • During the year,

are over 100 opportunities throughout the year to earn points such as the VCOM Olympics, Research Day, orientation and international mission trips. Participants can also request approval of points for other events. • At the end of the academic year, contestants receive a bronze, silver or gold level status depending on how many points they earned. The three participants with the most points are recognized each year. • VCOM Focus is another part of Via Wellness that recognizes the visual aspect of the world and

the values that VCOM’s faculty, staff and students hold. • The program has quarterly segments that target a specific theme that relates to the College’s values. Photos can be of any subject that relates to the theme. Each segment has first, second and third place winners. The winning photograph is displayed on campus with its award. Participation in VCOM Focus earns Via Wellness points.
