BAHM Bioethics and Humanities in Medicine, a specialty committee of SOMA

T he Bioethics and Humanities in Medicine Committee (BAHM) encourages a deeper level of thinking into the culture of medicine. The group works to provide a place for students to collaborate and express themselves creatively. • BAHM held a Cadaver Memorial Service on November 3, 2017, at the VCOM Amphitheater at dusk. The service and prepare for their future careers as physicians. A representative from each anatomy group shared a memory, read a poem, or expressed gratitude for the group’s cadaver while the rest of the group honored those who donated their bodies, allowing students to learn human anatomy
