T he American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) student organization works with VCOM’s OB-GYN faculty to bring awareness and interest to the specialty. The organization strives to help members be competitive in their residency applications, increase awareness of women’s health issues, educate students about sub-specialties in the OB-GYN field and get students involved in service opportunities. ■ ■ ACOOG hosted a Women in Medicine Panel.
