VCOM Focus Winners Segment 4 Theme: Fulfilling Needs

1 st Place Emily Rosen - Class of 2019 Photo Title: "The Park Favorite”

Description: Growing up, I walked to see the statue of the heroic dog, Balto, hundreds of times in Central Park in New York. He was a sled dog who saved countless lives by delivering medicine in severe weather during a diphtheria outbreak in the 1920s in Alaska. The inscription on the statue is "Endurance · Fidelity · Intelligence" which for me, defines the meaning of “Hearts That Never Harden.”

2 nd Place Kim Stewart – Class of 2019 Photo Title: "Sisterhood Bond” Description: The light that shines between the loving bond of sisterhood keeps the heart young and healthy.
