T he Anesthesia Special Interest Group (ASIG) strives to provide interested students with the foundation they need to go into the field of anesthesiology. With students receiving little exposure to the field during the first two years of medical school, ASIG tries to give students a better understanding of the role of an anesthesiologist, helps them to know what sub-specialty options are available and gives students an early start in practicing procedural skills.
