Highlights 2016-2017 Academic Year

1 The 2016 Summer Enrichment Experience (SEE) Program took place from June 11 to 22 and welcomed 31 male and 58 female high school students to the VCOM-Virginia campus. During the camp, students learned about the science and medical fields through activities like interactive lectures and hands-on labs. 2 The members of the Class of 2020 arrived on campus in August 2016 to begin their medical school careers. VCOM was happy to welcome another class into the family and start to get to know the new students! 3 The Class of 2020 impressed Dean Jan Willcox, DO, with their creativity and enthusiasm for VCOM, therefore winning the 2016 Spirit Day competition. Their orange outfits and remarkable amount of school spirit made them this year’s winners.
