9 The White Coat Ceremony recognizes academic have achieved in their medical studies. On Sunday, November 1, 2015, 187 students from VCOM–Virginia were cloaked with their first white coats. The ceremony concluded with a reception for the students and their families. 10 Via Research Recognition Day 2016, was an exciting and hectic time for the VCOM–Virginia campus.
