Suicide Prevention Week at the Virginia Campus F aculty, staff, and students came together a memorial service at the VCOM amphitheater in honor of those who are struggling and in memory of someone they've lost to suicide. VCOM hopes that this service, and future events, may help reduce the stigma of suicide and remind people that they are not alone. on September 10, 2021 for National Suicide Prevention Week. Carolinas Campus Holds Physician Suicide Awareness Week September 13-17 V COM-Carolinas held several discussions and a flower ceremony by the pond on campus, which was a small way the VCOM community came together to take a moment of silence for all those who have passed away to suicide. Dean Matthew Cannon, DO also took a few moments to share some words.
