White said that the project was an extremely fulfilling exercise and a testament to the skill of VCOM students. He recognized his collaborators on the project, which included several capable VCOM students, his young 3D printer friend, his wife, Stacey, and VCOM administrators. He specifically singled out Brolinson as the project’s primary motivator. “Dr. Brolinson sparked the creative juices and motivated us to find a way forward with the process,” White said. ■
