Alumni & Development VCOM-Carolinas Celebrates Inaugural Homecoming Weekend V COM-Carolinas proudly hosted its first-ever homecoming, June 14 – 15, 2024, bringing together graduates from the past decade to reconnect, learn and celebrate. It was heartwarming to see these families, who had played such crucial roles in their loved ones’ success, come together to celebrate this milestone. The festivities culminated in the Back to Campus Bash featuring The Song Band, food and drinks, and activities for the kids, all on the beautiful grounds of the DuPre House. Alumni mingled, reconnected with former classmates as well as faculty and staff, and made new VCOM family memories. The event was marked by genuine camaraderie, laughter and shared stories that reminded everyone of the unique bond they share as VCOM alumni. While we look forward to growing our homecoming celebrations in the future, this inaugural event was a meaningful start. We’re grateful to those who attended and helped make the weekend special. We hope to see even more of our alumni family at our next Homecoming!

On Saturday morning, a series of Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions provided attendees the chance to expand their knowledge and earn valuable credits. These sessions featured engaging discussions, with alumni sharing their experiences and insights, reflecting the ongoing commitment to excellence in medical education.
