Honestly, there was never any doubt. I had always planned to help out in an underserved community much like my own and that’s a huge part of VCOM’s mission.” Asked about his support of the College, Garnett said he wants to reward and recognize the commitment the students have made to pursue their medical education and go back into their communities to serve. “I applaud VCOM’s mission, and I enjoy reading about the impact its students and alumni are having in the areas they serve,” Garnett says. “This gift is a way to honor the blessings that have been given to me, and it’s a good investment.”
