Committees - College Service Committees exist to facilitate the work of the College and includes membership from faculty, staff, and students on some or all committees. The appropriate Campus Dean and the Provost appoints all committees and may appoint additional committees and subcommittees from time to time to meet the needs of VCOM.

VCOM’s standing committees on each campus are the: • Admissions Committee • Campus Diversity and Inclusion Committee • Campus Faculty Senate • Clinical Campus Curriculum Committee • Dean’s Council and Dean’s Administrative Committee • Facilities Committee • Financial Aid Committee

• Information Technology Committee • OMS 1 and OMS 2 Promotion Board • OMS 3 and OMS 4 Promotion Board • Pre-Clinical Campus Curriculum Committee

VCOM Statement on Professional and Ethical Behavior of Faculty VCOM’s Statement on Professional and Ethical Behavior of Faculty that follows sets forth those general standards that serve as a reminder of the variety of responsibilities assumed by all members of the faculty. In the enforcement of ethical standards, the academic profession differs from those of law and medicine, in that the academic profession, as an institution of higher learning, provides an assurance of professional standards to its students and the community and so handles questions concerning propriety of conduct of its faculty group.

VCOM on-campus full and part-time faculty are required to sign this statement at the time of hire.
