The Third Year Picnic and Awards Day brought the Class of 2019 back to campus on May 22. After catching up over tacos on the patio, the class assembled inside for an award ceremony that recognized Students of the Year, Distinguished Scholars, Preceptors of the Year, and the Arnold Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award recipients.

In May, VCOM–Carolinas Class of 2018 military graduates held a Promotion Ceremony at the Spartanburg Community College. The following day, 147 new physicians earned the Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree when VCOM–Carolinas Class of 2018 held its commencement ceremony at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. The event was followed by the Graduation Picnic on campus.
