“ It has been a blessing to serve with VCOM and Mission UpReach in Santa Rosa, Honduras. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve people who suffer from such great disparity. Even though I went with the intention of helping others I feel that I gained a great deal in return. From this experience, I have grown

and found further fulfillment in being a student doctor, a Christian, and a human being. I am glad we got to step out of our comfort zone and experience the greater good that comes from that uncertainty. We did not change the world in one week, but we did make a difference to the families we had the privilege of serving. ”
