Highlights 1 VCOM-Carolinas hosted its annual Summer

Enrichment Experience (SEE) Program in July, hosting two groups of local high school boys and girls over the span of two different weeks. The SEE Program is coordinated and carried out by VCOM faculty and students during summer break, and gives a unique, hands-on perspective on healthcare careers for the participating high school students. Throughout the week-long day camp, participants are immersed in healthcare- related activities such as research, an anatomy lab presentation, tour of a medical transport helicopter, and much more! welcomed 164 new students in late July, kicking off orientation weekend with a fun, family picnic and an opportunity for new and current students to get to know one another. Over the next two days, the Class of 2020 was immersed in VCOM orientation activities, including developing their own class motto, before classes began and officially marked the start of their medical education.
