STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

After the annual conference, members participated in special obstetric simulations. Under the supervision of clinical advisors, manikins were used to simulate scenarios of the birthing process. At the end of the year, the organization teamed up with its subspecialty group AMWA to host Marguerite Duane, MD,

family physician and faculty at Georgetown University. Dr. Duane is the co-founder of the prestigious Fertility Appreciation Collaborative to Teach the Science (FACTS) program, and spoke to members about fertility, family planning, and the science and methodology of non-medicinal fertility awareness based family planning methods.

This year has been one for the books, filled with excitement, learning, and networking that will be invaluable to OB/GYN members and their future patients.
