T he Student Government Association (SGA) is a student-run organization that serves as the governing body for VCOM–Carolinas medical students. The function of SGA is to handle any issues that may arise within the student body and to ensure students obtain the best college and education experience possible.

student body voice to AACOM, the AOA, and other national organizations within the profession. SGA plans activities that involve and excite the students. We are honored to support our classmates and join with the administration to make medical education a positive experience. Functioning like a family, we are a tight-knit group and take pride in making VCOM– Carolinas a great place!
