on campus. A tacky Christmas sweater contest was held, and Dr. Steven Presley sponsored Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ for club members. About 100 people attended this dinner. It was an incredible night to come together and enjoy some delicious food. Guest speaker for that evening was Pastor Eric Zellner. His talk focused on the Christmas message and how it applied to CMDA members’ training to become future physicians. In January, a few of the members went to the CMDA Winter Retreat in Mobile, Alabama. Other students attended

the weekend was Dr. Bill Pearson, a medical professor from the Medical College of Georgia and founder of Medical Campus Outreach. It was an amazing weekend to not only grow closer to fellow classmates, but also to meet new students from different medical schools. Dr. Pearson was an incredibly gifted speaker and taught members how to incorporate faith into their rigorous medical training.
