T he CMDA student organization at VCOM-Auburn provides opportunities for medical students and doctors alike to grow in their faith as Christians, both on campus and in practice. CMDA hosts various speakers for dinners at VCOM to engage students with the gospel and perspectives on practicing medicine. In addition, CMDA facilitates small groups to create a meaningful and impactful community

co-hosted a weekend seminar on human trafficking for the student body. Additionally, a group of CMDA members went to Mobile, Alabama for a weekend retreat with CMDA communities from other schools. Members of CMDA are thankful that God placed a community of believers within VCOM and also provided outstanding support from local physicians and faculty. As we move forward in this journey of becoming physicians, our prayer is that we keep at the forefront of our minds the importance of studying and learning to serve God.
