T he VCOM-Auburn Chapter of the American College of Family Physicians (ACOFP) has fostered the importance of primary care since its inception on campus in 2015. The club has achieved this through various events including Primary Care Week activities, visits to a local Auburn Nursing Home and assistance in high school sports physicals. Each opportunity is designed to be educational, fun and

common clinical scenarios they experience and how it relates to primary care. The goal is to provide club members and students alike a better understanding of primary care and its function in the medical world! Being an active member of the community is also an important part of becoming a physician. ACOFP encourages members to give back to the community by offering many volunteer opportunities throughout the academic year. Students are able to volunteer at the Oak
