VCOM - Auburn 2018 Yearbook

Rachel Lyman

Class of 2020

“ I enjoyed being able to interact with different healthcare professionals in the work setting and gaining feedback about how we as future physicians could collaborate with them for the betterment of the patient as well as our own professional interactions. While working

me was getting to finally talk with patients, whether it was people in the community that we were providing health education to or patients that we were observing other healthcare professionals treat. Talking to patients from different walks and stages of life was not only enjoyable but also allowed me to feel the weight behind the lives that would be affected through what I was learning in these four years of medical school. ”

at Warriorstand, I was impressed by the amount of knowledge that each student had to offer from their field of expertise. Our collaborative approach to helping the patients we were assigned proved to me that working together ensured that nothing was overlooked while treating our patient. Overall, the most fun part for

with pharmacy, nursing and social work students
