Public Health and Advocacy Training Lesson with Sports Medicine Aug. 15– VCOM-Auburn Sports Medicine welcomed Tuskegee University’s Athletic Training staff to campus for hands-on, interprofessional training. The session focused on spine boarding techniques for injured athletes, blending clinical knowledge with practical, team-based application. Poverty simulation Oct. 17– A two-day, interprofessional educational event hosted by VCOM-Auburn’s Preventive Medicine Department in partnership with the nonprofit organization Alabama Possible. It was designed to deepen understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families experiencing poverty.
