Growing up in Pulaski, Virginia, I witnessed firsthand how the lack of local healthcare services and high physician attrition negatively impacted families—mine included. These early experiences showed me the critical need for compassionate, community-focused physicians in underserved areas. Practicing in an area like the one I was raised in would be incredibly meaningful and a way for me to give back to the people and place that shaped who I am.”
