The VCOM Alumni Association T he VCOM Alumni Association is proud to foster meaningful connections among our community of more than 6,000 alumni. Many of our graduates actively give back to the College and its students by serving as mentors and preceptors, helping shape the next generation of physicians.

You’ll also find us at state-level gatherings, including the South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society and the Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (VOMA) conferences. Additionally, we organize on-campus events such as homecoming celebrations and Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, providing opportunities for alumni to stay engaged, continue learning, and reconnect with the VCOM community.

Approximately 62% of VCOM alumni practice in primary care, and 74% serve in a VCOM target state. These dedicated physicians make a lasting impact on healthcare every day, and we are sincerely grateful for their commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities they serve.
