VCOM 2024 Annual Report

Residency Specialties V COM recruits many students from medically underserved and rural communities. The College’s Outcomes Report shows that most graduates return to these areas to live and practice, addressing critical healthcare needs and providing valuable hands-on experience. After graduation, VCOM alumni enter residency programs and begin training in their chosen specialties. While a significant percentage pursue primary care—reflecting the College’s deep commitment to serving communities in need—we are equally proud that our graduates enter a wide range of essential medical specialties, contributing to the health and well-being of patients across the country and our target region.
