grounds was built by scientist Homer Swingle at Auburn University in 1937 to study fish-pond management. In need of repair, VCOM took on the project to give back to the community. The project repaired the pond’s dam and VCOM installed a path using porous asphalt and two boardwalks that are accessible to Auburn University and VCOM faculty and students, as well as the Auburn community.
