Breedlove Awarded Fullerton Scholarship
A lyssa Breedlove is the Fullerton Medical Scholarship Program’s is a graduate of Clemson University, where she earned a degree in biology. Prior to coming to VCOM, Alyssa gained invaluable experience
care providers in the Carolinas. The program seeks to improve the availability of primary care providers in upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina by providing substantial tuition assistance to medical students and student nurse practitioners who intend to practice some form of primary care.

Truist Foundation Grant Creates Internship Program V COM received a grant from the Truist Foundation to provide a month-long rotation for fourth year medical students who plan to practice primary care medicine and who have demonstrated prior experience working with populations whose healthcare needs are underserved.
