V COM is a school with big goals and an important mission. Because of your support, our graduates are literally changing and improving the landscape of healthcare in the communities where they live, work and serve. A donor recently summed up best what VCOM means to the region. When she thinks about VCOM, she sees a medical school that is “Bringing Healthcare Home.” We truly are a medical school helping to meet the healthcare challenges and needs of families living in medically underserved areas throughout the southeastern United States and Delta region. Thanks to your support, last year VCOM awarded more than $1.4 million in scholarships to talented students enrolled across our four campuses. These scholarships help our students

pursue their dreams of becoming physicians and returning to practice in their hometown communities. Your gifts also enable VCOM students to be actively involved in local area health fairs, free clinics, community education and other service-based learning opportunities to engage with the community. Thank you again for your trust in us and for your steadfast support of our mission and our students. Every gift, no matter what size, makes a difference!
