99.7 % VCOM students MATCHED to a residency Classes of 2017-2020

and rural areas. The College outcomes show that most return to live and practice in the communities in urgent need of medical professionals and provide valuable hands-on experience. Following graduation, VCOM alumni enter residencies and begin to focus on their individual specialties. A high percentage choose to enter primary care, upholding the College’s mission to meet the growing need for physicians in the Appalachian and Delta regions and beyond.
