RESEARCH

The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine supports research through:

• Proposal development writing assistance and manuscript editing • Project team management and coordination, both cross-campus and with outside partners such as Virginia Tech and the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA Healthcare) • Statistical consulting for both research and manuscript development

• Intellectual property licensing and tech transfer (in-house assistance, IP Development consultant, three teams of IP attorneys) • Human subjects research oversight and protocol assistance (IRBNet Online, group and one-on-one training)

• Capacity building programs and activities, such as the Research Retreat, Research Rounds and Research Day • Intramural funding opportunities (One Health Research Program, Research Eureka Accelerator Program) • Funding and sponsor searches and matches (Foundation Search and BIG Online databases)
