Community Support As an emergency

Patient Care and Preparation I would not consider myself on the front lines

right now. I am incredibly thankful for the training that I received to prepare for this pandemic. I’m currently

medicine physician, I feel that the support from our

covering primary care, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics and nursery care. To help my colleagues, I’ve also begun rounding on adult patients admitted to the hospital. I’ve been privileged to join a team with three other physicians tasked with opening the Community Memorial Hospital in preparation for the anticipated COVID-19 surge. This task has been daunting, but it’s encouraging to see the energy and support for this process from hospital staff to the entire South Hill community. Thank you to all of my teachers along the way. I could not have had this kind of experience without you all.”
