I am an outpatient psychiatrist in private practice in the greater

Philadelphia area. Most recently, I became the founder and chief organizer of the Physician Support Line, a peer-to-peer support line staffed by over 600 psychiatrists nationwide to help our physician colleagues navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We operate from the hours of 8 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. The call is free and confidential, and an appointment is not necessary. We have fielded countless calls from physicians across the United States and helped them deal with acute stressors regarding illness, anxieties, insomnia, grief, depression, financial stress, healthcare system grievances
