VCOM 2020 Annual Report

T he 5th annual Via Research Recognition Day at the Carolinas campus was to be held on April 17, 2020. However, for the safety of all participants and attendees, the campus event was moved online in response to the developing global situation involving COVID-19. Participants entered their posters and presentations virtually. In total, 69 abstracts were submitted, including 12 entered by VCOM faculty. Additionally, 46 posters were submitted for the competition. All of the submissions were compiled into a flipping book, which was made available on the VCOM website. The submissions were reviewed by a panel of ten VCOM faculty researchers who determined the winners. 2020 Carolinas Virtual Via Research Recognition Day
